for about $100 more than we usually pay, we could see the difference in the very new looking furniture, and other amenities. there was not a scratch or a drip of paint anywhere. the guy who checked us in made sure we had a handicapped room near the breakfast area since that would have been helpful for us. the beds were comfortable everything was clean. the breakfast was delicious and plentiful, similar items to most hotel breakfasts. the dining area was more luxurious and nice than most hotel breakfast areas. there was a very nice and clean pool and hot tub area which we enjoyed. we very much enjoyed our stay here!

Hampton Inn is the best place to stay in Arcata. The rooms and main areas, including public restrooms are always impeccably clean. The breakfast can't be beat and is included in the price of the stay. Our experience is always reliable and comfortable. The mattresses don't quite suit my husband and I but a hotel can't have a firmness that is going to be the best for every person, so that is understandable. I highly recommend a stay here if you have need in Arcata.

The breakfast was delicious, the location is nice, the rooms are decent size and well kept up. The staff is very friendly. The beds are very comfortable.

Breakfast was delicious, staff was friendly, the pool and hot tub are indoors which is great for the area, it's in a good spot and the staff was super friendly. Rooms were exceptionally clean coming from a hotel housekeepers prospective.

Quiet, comfortable, peaceful stay. Breakfast was good and they had many options to choose from. They allowed for late checkout and were flexible and accommodating!

Breakfast was good except decaf coffee seemed to be luke warm every morning. Staff make a new pot right away.

Loved the hotel and Staff. Will never use Booking.com again. Screwed up my reservation, absolutely horrible customer svc. Took a month to get a refund after I paid twice and booking.com was absolutely no help in getting the refund. First and last time using this company. Horrible experience and so much wasted time with them.

Breakfast was very good, came down around 8 and coffee was a little cold ask the lady if I could microwave, and she brought out a fresh pot was piping hot.
